Varieties of bulk floors

Currently, in the process of construction and repair work, bulk floors are very widely used. They talk a lot about this and write. But not every home owner can confidently say what these materials are. Therefore, it is necessary to consider this issue in more detail.

First of all, it should be noted that bulk floors are produced in the form of aligning screeds and finish polymeric floors. And they are often confused, despite the fact that these mixtures are fundamentally different both in their composition and their intended purpose. This moment must be taken into account by speaking to myself the bulk floor, because, without understanding, then you have to regret the uselessly spent considerable cash.

The first type of bulk floors is dry sand -cement mixtures. In their composition, they contain special polymer additives. The main area of their use is the arrangement of aligning screeds or repairing concrete floor. Falls of this type cannot be called “final”, since on top it is necessary to lay an additional coating in the form of carpet, laminate, parquet, etc.D. You can use such mixtures in residential and industrial premises, in offices, etc.P.

The next view is bulk polymer floors. Such materials are made on the basis of polymer binders (polyurethane, epoxy, etc.D.) applied to the surface by filling. Such bulk floors are used for the manufacture of the upper “finishing” layer. As the advantage of this kind of materials, it is necessary to note their high wear resistance durability. Polymer bulk floors can be colored. To give them additional decorative properties, chips or glitter (sparkles) are used.

The composition of polymer bulk floors can include various polymers, but the most popular are epoxy and polyurethane at the moment. Pacific floors with polyurethane additives are more practical, since they have better elasticity and wear resistance. Burning polymer floors are usually equipped in rooms where flooring should be resistant to abrasion (offices, public places, trading institutions, etc.D.). It should be taken into account that such floors have a fairly high cost.
